Key Functions:

The main tasks expected to be performed include:

Act as a key member of a software development team responsible for application development on one or more of the following platforms: Windows Mobile, Symbian etc.
Solve complex engineering problems in the mobile domain.
Build new products and implement new features.
Make performance, size and architectural improvements.
Perform porting, integration and updating of existing features.
Timely provision of progress reports to team leader. Depending on circumstances these may be verbal or written.

All work is to be of a professional standard, paying due regard to safety, efficiency, cost effectiveness, timescales and the needs of the company.

Skills & Experience:

Mandatory:

Bsc or equivalent degree in Computer science, Mathematics, Engineering or any related discipline
Minimum 2 years C/C++ programming & debugging skills.
Strong programming skills in any of family: C/C++
Thorough understanding of development best practices
Demonstrated experience with algorithm design, object oriented design, and software testing methods.
Proficiency in debugging realtime and multi threaded code
A high degree of self motivation and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
A good level of inter-personal and communication skills
