Overview
Customer* utilizes skills of our people to provide a range of telecom projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Our Sun Certified J2EE programmers, C++ programmers, QA engineers as well as business analysts work within Customer Consulting & Integration and R&D business units . Projects include Customer* services (we are exposed to clients as part of Customer*) and new product development. Technologies and systems included: 2G and 3G mobile network applications, GPRS, Intelligent Networks, Mediation Devices
Customer Business Need
For Customer turn key delivery we set up a development team working under supervision of a Customer* lead. The whole team is working in ES premises in Lodz, Poland to implement mediation device for the mobile operators. There are only high level requirements defined with many functional gaps. One of our deployment engineers facilitates the implementation process on client site in Tehran, Iran supported by business analyst that travels for client meetings.
Edge Solutions Involvement
- Business analysis, requirements definition, facilitation of the end client meetings
- Preparation of Work Break Structure estimates for Customer* Project Manager
- Detail design and implementation plan
- Software prototyping, development and verification
- Coordination of the deployment on the customer site
- Preparation and execution of Customer Acceptance Tests
- System support and project reporting
